Anna Bay

Anna Bay is what we would call the 'hidden gem' of Port Stephens, not yet known to many tourists and is predominately a residential area with some of the best beaches in the region. Known to many locals as the gateway to iconic Birubi and Stockton Beaches, Anna Bay was once named 'Hannah Bay' after the vessel 'Hannah' wrecked at One Mile Beach. Anna Bay has many amenities including the local school, doctors surgery and chemist as well as groceries, tavern and multiple cafes.

The photo above was taken by local photographers 'Changing Tides' of the camels at Birubi Beach.
