Local Catchment - Tomaree Public School

Tomaree Public School is located at the Tomaree Education Centre, with Tomaree High School and the Hunter Institute of TAFE.

The three partners work co-operatively to enhance learning opportunities for students and to utilise the shared resources most effectively. The community recognises that the school provides quality education and care through a balanced curriculum and the core values of respect, responsibility and personal best.

Strong community links with parents, businesses, local Aboriginals and sporting clubs underpin the programs that build leadership and social responsibility. The school provides opportunities for achievement in academic, cultural and sporting aspects of education.

Student participation in PSSA sport, choir, public speaking, debating, band, dance and gifted and talented programs is strongly supported. There are also three special education classes and a significant number of students from Defence families.
